New Scam Alert!! Targets are Law Firms, Law Consultants, Collection Agencies
and other various
financial institutions |

R.K.B. Opto-Electronics, Inc.
(“RKB”) has become aware of a scheme to fraudulently acquire monies
from unsuspecting attorneys and law firms. This scam is not new, and
reports on its variations may be found in the links to the left.
What is new, for RKB anyway, is the perpetrators are using our
corporate name and address in an attempt to make the scam appear
legitimate. Please be advised, RKB is not involved in any mergers or
acquisitions at the present time, it is not involved in any lawsuits
with overseas companies and it does not utilize non-US banks. If you
believe you have been targeted by this scam, please notify RKB at
service@rkbopto.com and
copy our counsel, Christopher G. Todd, Esq., Costello Cooney &

on any such communication. You should, of course, also report the
attempt to the FBI at
