The bag material, which is manufactured in a continuous fashion, has two processes applied during the manufacturing stage. These processes break up the continuous web by making a heat seal at a prescribed length indicating the bottom of a bag and by applying a perforated seem adjacent to the heat seal for bag removal by the consumer. If the seal is not present, then the bag material is compromised. R.K.B. splice detection solution, which as been modified, monitors this bag material and can indicate to production the absence of this seal/seem process.
