The web inspection system will be utilized on a paper manufacturing line to check for quality in their high-end specialty grades. The inspection solution will inspect for holes, spots and other defects commonly found in paper manufacturing processes. Once installed, the system will provide defect information that will facilitate accurate removal of sever defects during the winding process. The web inspection system is a state-of-the-art machine vision solution that is used to automatically identify, detect, classify and display autonomous defects like holes, dark spots, oil, scale, edge cracks, hard wrinkles and other defect flaws in any type of non-coated or coated material such as paper, film, foil, steel and other materials.
