The web inspection system will be utilized on a paper manufacturing line to check for quality in the production of NCR papers and specialty grades.  The inspection solution will inspect for holes, dirt, oil and other defects commonly found in paper manufacturing processes. The web inspection system is interfaced into R.K.B. Model 1280 Multicolor Spray Marking Technology for easy and quick identification of defects and their location within the jumbo roll.  The system provides accurate defect and quality assurance information that will facilitate accurate removal of sever defects during the winding process. The web inspection system is a state-of-the-art machine vision solution that is used to automatically identify, detect, classify and display autonomous defects like holes, dark spots, oil, scale, edge cracks, hard wrinkles and other defect flaws in any type of non-coated or coated material such as paper, film, foil, steel and other materials.   R.K.B. automated inspection technology allows all kinds of web-based material manufacturers to produce a high caliber product more cost-effectively.
